Concerning the use of unmanned aerial systems near certain protected marine species (Lytton, Morris, Tarleton)

Prohibits an unmanned aerial system from approaching, in
any manner, within two hundred yards as measured in any
direction, including vertically, of a southern resident orca
whale.

HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENTS:
Adds an exemption to the prohibited approach of an unmanned aerial system to a southern resident orca whale when the unmanned aerial system is in active transit to an unrelated destination.
