Concerning the use of child passenger restraint systems (Bergquist, Harmsworth, Fey)
Revises child restraint system requirements. Requires the traffic safety commission to produce and disseminate informational and educational materials explaining: (1) The proper use of child restraint systems in motor vehicles; (2) Safety risks of not properly using the restraint systems; (3) Where assistance on proper installation and use of restraint systems can be obtained; and (4) Legal penalties for not properly using restraint systems.
